Thank you :) ISLAM and IT :) ✿ In 1999, Islamic Internet Conference (MISIC'99) was held with the objective of utilizing the Internet to present and acquire knowledge on Islam, sharing information among Muslims all over the globe, as well as establishing personal and organizational networks. ✿ This event has become a yearly programme under the supervision of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and was renamed to "International Conference on Information Technology"2. ✿ In essence, supports from ICT will enable the Islamic knowledge to be effectively transmitted to the ummah. ✿ Information Technology (IT) is defined as "the use of computers and telecommunications for the processing and distribution of information in digital, audio, video and other forms". ✿ ICT offers various technologies that can be used by the humans in order to facilitate their routine activities. ✿ It is said that ICT will be changing the way we work, communicate, study, do business and other aspects of human life. ✿ One of the greatest benefits to be gained from the use of ICT is Internet. In the Qur’an, Allah says, So why is the Salah so important? It’s simple. The Salah is so important because it is the precise way that Allah has instructed us to worship Him, and because worshiping Allah is the purpose of our creation, as Allah says, So, below are a few links to help you if you are looking to learn how to pray/make wudu. As someone who needed to learn how to pray some time ago, it does take time, effort, and patience when memorizing all that needs to be done, but insyAllah with the help of Allah (swt) it becomes easier with time and you learn quickly. :) This is the basic prayer. Each prayer has a mandatory amount of Rakat to pray. Further down you will see where the first Rakat ends. And then at the very end you will see what to do at the end of each prayer. Fajr: 2 Dhuhr: 4 Asr: 4 Maghrib: 3 Isha: 4 Bring both hands up and say: “Allahu Akbar” Standing straight, with hands on the chest recite: “Subhanna kalla humma wa bahimdik Wa tabara muka wa ta’ala jaduk Wala illaha ghairuk A’udhu billah minash shaytan nir Rahim” “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Alhamdu lillah Rabbi ‘alamin Al rahmanir Rahim Maliki yaw mideen Iyyaka na’budu wa iyaka nasta’in Ihdinas siratal mustagim Siratal ladina an ‘amta ‘alayhim Ghayril maghdubi ‘alayhim walad daleen….ameen.” Bring both hands up and say: “Allahu Akbar” Assume Ruku position and say: “Subhana Rabbiyal ‘Adheem” (3 times) Stand up straight with arms at the side and say: “Sami-Allaho Liman hamidah Rabana walakal hamd” While moving into this position say: “Allahu Akbar” Stay in this bowed-like position and say: “Subhana Rabbi ya Alla” (3 times) Sit up-right and say: “Allahu Akbar” While moving into this position say: “Allahu Akbar” Stay in this position and say: “Subhana Rabbi ya Alla” (3 times) Sit up-right and say: “Allahu Akbar” END OF FIRST RAKAT Standing straight, with hands on the chest recite: “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Alhamdu lillah Rabbi ‘alamin Al rahmanir Rahim Maliki yaw mideen Iyyaka na’abudu wa iyyaka nasta ‘in Ihdinas siratal mustagim Siratal ladina an ‘amta ‘alayhim Ghayril maghdubi ‘alayhim walad daleen….ameen.” Bring both hands up and say: “Allahu Akbar” Assume Ruku position and say: “Subhana Rabbiyal ‘Adheem” (3 times) Stand up straight with arms at the side and say: “Samey-Allaho Liman hamidah” While moving into this position say: “Allahu Akbar” Stay in this position and say: “Subhana Rabbi ya Alla” (3 times) Sit up-right and say: “Allahu Akbar” “Rabb ighfir lee” While moving into this position say: “Allahu Akbar” Stay in this position and say: “Subhana Rabbi ya Alla” (3 times) Sit on the knees and recite: (While rotating right index finger)(DO THIS AT THE END OF EVERY PRAYER) Say Shahada: Ash hadu Allah illaha ill-Allah wa ash hadu anna Muhammad abduhu rasul Allah After reciting the above turn your head to the right and say: “Assalamualaikum Warakhmatuallah” Then turn your head to the left and say: “Assalamualaikum Warakhmatuallah” How to make wudu (along with hadiths): How to pray : Beneficial Articles/Videos Regarding Salah : |
